Professional Evaluations of Our Security Safes

I bought the Viking Security Safe Model VS-50BLX from Amazon on 11/25/2017 (Order # 111-6447498 7509003). The safe arrived on 11/28/2017 (Three days later). I just recently hired a contractor to install it, and upon opening the shipping box we noticed that on of the tabs on the shelf was broken off. I emailed the Company and explained the problem and they quickly responded and asked me a few questions and to send them some photos of the shelf, which I did. The next day they informed me that they would be sending me a replacement shelf at no cost. I am completely satisfied with the manner in which they handled my issue and how quickly they responded. I wish other companies would be as proactive as Viking Security Safe Company. The contractor commented on how easy the safe was to install, it took him about 45 minutes from start to finish. I started to read the instructions for programming the four digit PIN, and to program my fingerprint. It was very easy to do, and my wife also programmed her fingerprint as well. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a home wall safe to look at Viking Security Safe’s website and choose the one that best fits their needs. I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Viking for a great product!!

I ordered this Viking VS-50BLX safe on January 21, 2016 (Order# 115-1599128-2174607) on Amazon from The Biometric Store . It shipped the next day and I received it 6 days later which was great. It arrived in great shape although the keypad had a few very small scratches due to no protective film over it. The rest of the safe was in pristine condition. I printed the user manual from the website instead of looking at the included ones. At first I had a little difficulty programming my fingerprint because I was trying to just use the tip of my finger. Then I placed my finger all the way up in the reader cavity and it worked great. They registered right away no problem. I am 50 years old and so far the fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. I then programmed the keypad with my own code with no issues. The keys worked great too. This safe is a great buy for the money with three different ways to get it open. The only thing I would change is to have the keyboard light up for the keypad in the dark. This safe is very solid but don’t expect it to be bulletproof for this price. I”m just waiting for a reply from my email about the warranty and how to register it if necessary. Hopefully the company support will be good too if needed!
