Fast, secure and reliable VS-25DBLX (VS-25DBL) Safe makes keys the thing of the past. The VS-25DBLX (VS-25DBL) Safe offers top of the line locking system – upgraded 500 DPI Optical Fingerprint Reader, Numeric Digital Keypad and LCD display. Store up to 32 unique fingerprints and 1 PIN Code into the VS-25DBLX’s (VS-25DBL) non-volatile memory. The VS-25DBLS’s (VS-25DBL) advanced Optical Sensor will only recognize the registered fingerprints, and the PIN Code / Key acts as a backup in case the safe needs to be accessed by someone whose fingerprints have not been programmed into the safe. This safe is made of steel, its laser cut, pry-resistant, seamlessly welded with military scratch resistant finish. The locking deadbolts are motorized and reinforced by two anti-pry insertion slots for added security. It has all carpeted interior, and integrated LED light for additional convenience. The VS-25DBLX (VS-25DBL) by Viking Security is the perfect storage solution for jewelry, important documents, small electronics and other valuables; it is built with deep anti-fishing depository slot, so things stay inside the safe. Its size gives you extreme flexibility to mount it almost anywhere. The VS-25DBLX (VS-25DBL) comes complete with two Back-up Keys, 4 Anchor Bolts, 1 User Manual, 4 AA batteries, 2 AA batteries for LED light and one Allen Wrench.

  1. What are the access methods for my Viking Security Safe?
    The safe can be accessed using a fingerprint, PIN code, or high-security key. Each model can store up to 32 fingerprints and allows a 4-8 digit PIN code.
  2. How do I register a fingerprint on my safe?

    Green Light Version: Unlock the safe using the PIN, press the Reset button briefly, and when the green light comes on, place your fingerprint on the scanner. Repeat this step to add up to 32 fingerprints.

    Red Light Version: Press the red Reset button briefly, and when the red light comes on, place your fingerprint on the scanner. Repeat this step to add fingerprints as needed.

  3. How do I reset the safe to factory default settings?

    Green Light Version: Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds until “INIF” appears on the screen. This will delete all registered data.

    Red Light Version: Press and hold the red Reset button for 10 seconds until “INIT” flashes, followed by “OK.” This erases all data and returns the safe to default mode.

  4. How do I change the PIN code?

    Green Light Version: Enter the default PIN (1234) and press # until (——) appears. Enter your new PIN and press # twice to confirm.

    Red Light Version: Enter the default PIN (1234) and hold the star (*) button until the underscore (_) appears. Enter your new PIN and press * twice to confirm.

  5. How do I set up the fingerprint scanner and PIN code?

    The VS-25DBLX is designed for easy setup. Follow the provided instructions to register your fingerprints and set up a PIN code. The instructions are clear and straightforward, ensuring you can quickly secure your safe.

  10. What should I do if the battery level is low?

    Replace all four AA batteries as soon as the low battery indicator appears. The safes are equipped with non-volatile memory, so registered fingerprints and PIN codes will be saved even if the batteries are removed.

  11. How do I lock and unlock the safe using the fingerprint or PIN?

    Green Light Version:
    Unlock with fingerprint: Press the fingerprint activation button (*) and place your registered fingerprint on the scanner.
    Unlock with PIN: Enter your registered PIN and press #.
    Lock: Press # to lock the safe electronically.

    Red Light Version:
    Unlock with fingerprint: Press the pound button (#) and place your registered fingerprint on the scanner.
    Unlock with PIN: Enter your registered PIN and press *.
    Lock: Press either the * or # button.

  12. Why won’t the electronic functions work after using the key to unlock the safe?

    If you use the key to unlock the safe, electronic functions are temporarily disabled. Lock the safe with the key, then unlock it electronically (using PIN or fingerprint) to enable electronic features again.

  13. How do I mount my safe securely?

    The safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the included hardware. Follow the instructions for mounting, and ensure you anchor the safe securely to prevent movement or accidental falls.

  14. What should I do if my fingerprint doesn’t work as I get older?

    Fingerprint accuracy can decrease with age. It’s recommended to re-register fingerprints periodically and use alternative access methods if needed.
